Star 1 - No Sales People

We don't have a salesperson on staff. You will work directly with the Owner of Lensis Builders and Lensis Kitchen & Bath Solutions from start to finish. No mix-ups, no broken promises, just an up-front, honest approach to all of your remodeling needs.

Star 2 - Design & Material Selection

We are residential design, build and remodeling experts - and have successfully designed and completed hundreds of projects with satisfied customers since incorporating in 1995. We also have third party certifications with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and the National Association for the Remodeling Industry (NARI) which require extensive experience, training and satisfactory testing results. Our Design Staff & Carpentry Staff includes:

• Certified Bath Designer (CBD) - NKBA
• Associate Kitchen & Bath Designer (AKBD) - NKBA
• Certified Remodeler (CR) - NARI

Part of our design process includes a client survey, assistance with material selections - countertops, paint colors, flooring, cabinetry, and much more. We will work with you during this process, help you stay on track with your budget, and make sure all your choices work well with your overall design.

Star 3 - Whole House Approach

Our "whole house approach" not only covers the aesthetics of the project - but the functionality and energy efficiency as well. By considering the "whole house" when remodeling just a section or two, we may be able to solve some other problems at the same time. Energy efficiency pays - we can provide an energy audit to find out your home's strengths and weaknesses. Many times some little improvements can yield big long term savings. Homes that are more energy efficient, comfortable and affordable to live in are our goal. Part of your project may include updated insulation, HVAC systems and electrical updates. We can use all of these advanced remodeling techniques along with common sense Green construction practices so that your project has efficiency, functionality and aesthetics at the top of the list.

Star 4 - Pre-Construction Planning

Before any project begins, we will properly plan a timeline and stage all of your materials in our warehouse. We will update you daily when items and materials arrive. This allows us to start your project knowing we can stay until it is completed - instead of wasting time waiting for missing materials. Then we will conduct a pre-construction meeting in your home with you. This will set the stage for all expectations and eliminate all surprises. This meeting will include the Home Owners, the President of Lensis Builders, a Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC) and either a Designer or Project Manager. At this meeting we will discuss:

• Access to your home
• What areas in the home are off limits?
• Is there a bathroom we can use, or do we need to order a portable toilet?
• Are there pets in the home that cannot go outside?
• Are there children that will be home during the project?
• Where can we park our trash truck?
• Locations of tent walls and flooring protection to protect certain areas of the home
• Working hours and Home Owners' schedules
• All necessary job logistics
• Materials storage
• Project schedule and timeline
• Daily clean-up
• Post the building permit

Star 5 - Construction Process

You can feel comfortable during your project because a Certified Remodeler (CR) or Certified Lead Carpenter (CLC) will be on-site daily to supervise and oversee all aspects and keep everything on schedule. Our people are employees of Lensis Builders - have no criminal records, and have passed a drug test as a condition of employment. Our sub-contractor partners are the best plumbers, electricians and mechanical experts in the business - and are fully licensed, insured and understand how to work and behave in your home. We will schedule a walk-through with you prior to completion to compile a "punch list" of items that need to be completed. And don't be surprised when we call or email a few months after we're gone to see how you're doing.
